my question is this: say two authors are represented on a copyright form and one of the two authors signs and checks 'author' in the certification box [#8] . does this mean that the two authors are still represented within the copyright equally? or does the one who actually certified the copyright "own it" so to speak? this i am confused about.

my second question is this. whos name is represented after the copyright date on on printed material after the form is sent out? is it the authors? the claimants, the certifier? i am confused on this matter as well.

any input would be appreciated and thank you for your time.

They are represented equally unless you especify otherwise...
