Can you record on a JH16 w/o a remote?

    I gather track arming would be impossible if it ain't got the locater, no?

    At Dimension sound (RIP)in Boston you could, but that had homemade electronics, where you could switch the mode manually by had. What a pain in the ass that was. You had to miraculously switch a turn style switch one notch to the left, and a horizontally mounted lever switch just below it one notch to the right, simultaeneously, to swith from input to record ready. Get a remote.
