cubase LE / SX?

    Hi
I bought a Lexicon Lamda sound card with cubase LE.
    Now I have two questions:

I learned to use cubase in school. We had Cubase SX. What is the biggest differences between the versions, you think? I only use my cubase for home recordning and mixing. You think there's functions I'll really need that I can't find in Cubase LE?

I have lots of old cubase projects that I had looked forward to remix, but my Cubase LE can't open Cubase SX - files? Is there any way for me to solve this problem?

    For comparing LE/SE/SL/SX look here.

Others might have an answer to your second question.

    Good luck!

dont take this as gosple but i dont think it's going to happen... check with the cubase forum for more detailed answers... the rule often is in favor of backward and downward compatability.... in otherwords C4 can open sx3 files not the otherway around.... on the off chance that your old sx files dont make use of the "better features" it might be possible ... but i doubt it...

I knew there was a freeware tool that could convert from SX/SL to SE, but not to LE.... they are too much differents.
