Is the DMP3 sturdy enough for on-location work, in the hands of a caring adult? I've been hunting around a bit for a Rane MS1b strictly for location work, but I'm thinking the DMP3 might be better suited. Especially for ORTF, etc, double-mic techniques, since it is two channels. My thoughts are for something pretty small and very portable. Preamp, a digital minidisk, or perhaps a laptop. Tripid ORTF mount, and my pair of SP C4. Owners: what is your opinion of the construction quality and durability?
