Does a Sebatron need warmup time?

    Hey Sebatron,

I was doing some recording with some vintage tube mics and the guy who rents them out said they should warm up for 30-60 minutes before using. What about the Sebatron. Is it better to give it a warm-up time? If so, how much?

Another question: Is there the most valve action on Pad 0, less valve action at Pad -15, then the least at Pad -30?

The manual says it takes 30 min. I guess it's the same as with valve guitar amplifiers: you could use them right away (but not cranked up, cause that could damage the thing), but they sound better after a while.

    Thanks Gomp.

I must have an older manual because I looked and didn't find anything about warming up.

I always warm up ANY gear (including condenser mics) at least 30 minutes before using it for recording or critical listening--especially tube gear.
