Drums - Solved?

    This is the drums/bass of the new piece ... nevermind the timing errors. I'll fix those ... but did the drums lose the room sound better?

    We employed close gobos and blankets.

    yes it sounds much better. i can still hear that it's in a small room but it sounds much better than before. (y)

    do the same when you track the vocals and it will be a lot easier to mix.

    I take sage advice from learned ears ... and I thought so too, bud. I got the Overheads down under height of the gobo also ... which blocked some of the returning reflections. Now to mix in the other parts ... and no, I'm not making the same mistake on the vocals again either. :D
