I've been using Logic Platinum lately, having switched from Cubase and Deck II. I've made good progress so far with everything except one....
How can I export a sound file? There seems to be no obvious way of generating an .aif or .wav file, or am I missing the obvious here?

    Hi Professor,

    good choice.

    Audio menue: Audio Window.
    loc. men. AudioFile: Add AudioFile.
    loc. men. AudioFile: Copy/Convert File.
select format and place where to put it,

Best wishes to the other side of the earth,
    nice place!

What I really want to do is generate a mix of all digital audio tracks, with effects and so on.
With Deck there was a Mix to Disk option which did this, and Cubase had a similar Export option.
Where can I find this function in Logic Platinum?

    Open your audio mixer environment,
    search the master fader.
Instead of the rec. enable button, there is a bounce button (!)
Bouncing is done in realtime, so it includes even external effects & sequenced stuff.

    Best wishes
