I would like to make Hip-Hop(Jazz ,Hardcore,90's, some Acid Jazz,DownTempo)Low Fi and Grit music is my fav.Is Sebatron hi-end preamp? Is it can help my music style? the sound color is effect by the sebatron EQ? If I combine with other Compressor and Preamp, can I make different sound(Joemeek SC2.2 and JBL 7110 and Fasto, good?) Is it ok If I through the Mackie SR24-4 bus out to Sebatron? I already read alots good review about sebatron, but I still need some help. Cuz in my country, NO BODY use it...... Most people use Neve, Focusrite, Manley. Thanks for everyone who answer and help me before. P.S. Sorry for my poor English..

Just buy it! Then if you don't like it, you can sell it to me for half of what you paid for it
All joking aside, if you went with the Seb and you truely didn't like it, they have a KILLER return policly.
And even if you tryed selling it on ebay they should re-sell handsomely.

For real.. i'm checking ebay every second day for Seb gear.. there's only a couple of brand new offers on there.... the offers there are cheaper than Sebatron list directly on their website by the way!

It'd be pretty crazy to import a unit from the USA when they're probably being made in NSW anyway (the state of Australia I spend alot of time in) but that's the crazy modern world for you..

I've inquired about the Seb's on Ebay, and they are older models at the older prices, thus wont last for too long at that price according to the 'Sebmeister' himself.

Same electonics and build though, so wouldn't hurt to grab one while they are there.

    Actually they're made in Melbourne.

I got a killer deal from my local bloke. Drop me an email if you want to know more.

I wouldn't say any preamp has "punch". That's a term I would apply more to the performace.

i guess that depends on how hard you hit it :)

i really dont know what you asking about there.

ps i bought one of the old sebs on ebay number 201 i think i was the first one to have the orange and green lights im told, im not sure how old it is but original tubes no mods, and it works great.
