    Reworked the drums ...

Added a bunch of new parts ... etc ...

I'd accidentally rolled off a ton of low end in the original mix on the 2 buss ... and wondered why it sounded so different than the other mixes lol ...

Big ol' "whoops" when I went back to fix it. :D

I really like the composition. And the song in general lol. I'm not listening on monitors to comment on the sound.

The only thing I could even suggest (it may be a terrible idea) but about a minute in you have a guitar that drops off in volume and pitch. I would play with the volume of that part. It almost seems like it should get louder and lead into the verses instead of dropping out.

What do you plan to do with this song? I could see some TV outlets buying it if that is what you are into.

That's a very interesting idea. My keyboard player said similar. He doesn't want the part to drop out ... he wants it to lead into the verse. If I increase the volume of the sustain to bridge that gap ... that might just do it.

    Thanks for the thought!!

We're just recording to make interesting music as of this point. We needed to because we didn't have any recordings of us to show venues what we sound like. We're open to any usage that gets the word out, though.

Yes, that's what I meant. Bring the intensity up to lead into the verse...that's what it sounds like it wants. I like the guitar to do it, just make the pitch drop last longer and automate the volume up? Or do the pitch change up or differently. But you get what I mean.

But the cable channels are very interested in theme based songs. National Geographic for example might buy that song to use in a documentary about monkeys etc. They won't pay you a lot, but sometimes you gotta sell stuff cheaply to get your foot in the door, establish some relationships, build a client base etc.
