I've heard that I can set the Fletcher-Munson curve for my RODE Nt1 microphone to compensate some frequencies (harshness, hi's)..

Is it true and does someone know more about this?

I've heard that those curves and settings exist for all marks of mic's..

The Fletcher-Munson effect has to do with how, as volume increases, high an low frequencies seem louder relative to the rest of the full spectrum. This happens for anything full range as you turn up the volume. What that has to do with the response curve of a particular mic, who knows?, since I have no idea what level it'll be reproduced at.
