Got my 4000e

    Plugged it in for the first time last night.
    All I can say is WOW! I've never heard a TLM-103 sound so big and warm. It's now a much more versatile mic.
    I retracked some vocal with it in an existing session. The Seb tracks just sat in there beautifully and clearly without having to do another thing to them.
    It's a big winner!

    One of my favourites is the AT-4047 though the vmp.

    I put this down to careful biasing of the active components and maintaining a tight efficient circuit running on High Tension rails.
    It has to be Class A all the way.

    Class B just fouls up the waves......not.... :cool:
