    Thanksgiving Day
is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. While it may have been religious in origin, Thanksgiving is now primarily identified as a secular holiday. It is sometimes casually referred to as Turkey Day.

For those interested in the Canadians harvest day:

On January 31, 1957, the Canadian Parliament proclaimed:
A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed – to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October.

    And for the USA,
Thanksgiving Day, celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, has been an annual tradition in the United States since 1863, when during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of thanksgiving to be celebrated on Thursday, November 26.

    Hey Everyone,

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I sure did, I saw Daniel Lanois with his band black dub perform at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis on Wednesday night. Awesome show!
