This appears to be a plug-in version of the Talent Booster box that was popular in San Francisco during the mid 1970s. I doubt that it will sound anywhere near as good as the real thing. Funk Logic was supposed to bring out a clone of the original although I doubt that they'll ever get the feel of that vintage "boost" switch right.
I'd also love to see somebody manufacture Bill Szymczyk's "Go Home" indicator which accurately measured the vibe of a session preventing huge amounts of lost time.
