Has anyone used the HDSPe AES? I need something that might get me by for my new MixDream. 16 ins 16 outs AES
I have a FireFace 800 but its not going to get me by with it.

I'm also curious to how it sounds compared to a FireFace 800? Different animals but I wonder if its conversions are as good or better?

Lynx AES16 vs RME HDSPe AES

Or, how does the Lynx AES16 or (the other two lynx cards that look the same ) compare? This is about $500 less than RME HDSPe AES

RME is known for their reliable performance and solid drivers. Since it is AES, I don't see where the Lynx provides anything extra unless there are specific other features that the Lynx has or that you need.
