'm a drummer looking for software to record me drums with. I've spent the last 6 hours trying to look up which software is best for recording drums. Im on a budget and since Im new to it. I know theres pro tools but is there anything else I can use?

The reason you won't find which software is "best" is that all multi-track audio software will record drums. They all give identical results in terms of raw data tracks.

You need to consider microphones and an interface first. That's where the differences are.

There is plenty you can use. Are you on a pc or a mac? As Boswell said you need the mics and interface. As an interface, I will recommend the PreSonus FP10 for an interface in your case. It's got enough inputs to record drums and is good enough to last you a few years. What mics do you have?
