    Hello All!

    I just purchased a MOTU 896HD and a Power Mac G5.

I used to work as a recording engineer in an analog studio years ago. This is my first foray into dig recording.

When I got the above gear, I also got a copy of iDrum by Glaresoft. While they say it's compatible with Digital Performer they don't think it'll plug in to Audio Desk. (anyone done this?)

So, my question: is there another software drum machine, preferably better sounding, which will plug into Audio Desk on OSX?

    Many more questions to follow!!

    Regards,

    George :)

Actually you need to upgrade to DP, the only midi support in Audio desk is MMC, and support for fader/pan control.

It cannot record midi instrument data.

So the answer is there is none, it's basically an audio only app.
