I am looking into keyboards. I want the realest sounds of pianos, violins, etc. I have 2 that I narrowed it down to. Which is better and which one would you choose?

Yamaha Motif ES7 VS. Korg Triton Studio 76

    Both are the same price.

    Thanks for any help.

Zeff; you may want to check out the last few columns from Stephen St. Croix in MIX magazine. I'm sure they're still available online at: I believe he actually compares both or at least one of those kybds in two of his columns.

    Thanks. I can't find it.

I also want to add another keyboard: ROLAND Fantom x7

IMO you should look into sound fonts and soft synths. there are some killer piano sound fonts at

and the best part is there free!!!

then all you need is a midi controller and a host application like Kontact.

    hope this helps
