    HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE KORG 32XD DIGITAL RECORDERS? I WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE

    I haven't used the 32 XD but I have used the D1600. The features found in the KORG products are phenomenal at the price point. The effects are very useable, even the compression (although the parameters are weird). The EQ is ok but there's a plug called PEQ4 (i think) that really dials it in...

    As you know from our other thread we are talking on, I think the pres are the weakest link in the 1600. I doubt that the pres in the 32 XD will be an improvement. The one thing on the 32 XD that is an improvement is the use of an ADAT toslink connector so you can use 8 channels of adat inputs completely bypassing the input section of the KORG.
