Hi, i have been looking at some sort of work station, and i have heard that the Korg D888 is pretty good. it does all of the things i would like it to, but i have been wondering... what are virtual tracks (this may be obvious) will they allow me to overdub?
if i record 8 tracks simultaneously(sp) and then want to overdub (without exporting the tracks to my computer yet) will virtual tracks allow me to do this?
    ok thanks everyone.

Yes you can............. But if you are going to be exporting the tracks into your computer, Why not just record into the computer, just something to think about.

    I'm not a fan of those all-in-one work station's!

    Peace..........Scoobie

ok that's good. i would just like to be able to overdub. i have looked in to some sort of firewire interface for my computer. but the studio i intern at said it would be best to get a workstation. this particular one seems to have all of the features i need.
