I recieved this format interface on my doorstep recently.
Lexicon website seemed fit to still have the manual(pdf).
I am curious as to it's usefullness in my home studio?
I know it is rather geared to Sony's SDIF-2 format(I can't use). Also seems I could use a short class in HEX to reach deep in it's tools.
I'm new to the world of DAW, and would have asked this Q in another forum, but I'm afraid no one would know what this unit is capable of.....so I ask the experts, you guys.

The Lexicon LFI-10 was meant to be used as the digital interface for the Lexicon 480L effects unit which also required the $1500+ optional digtal board installed in the 480L. As a stand alone unit, it can be used as a digital format converter or a simple digital patchbay.
