Does anyone have a book that we can all agree is THE most important book to have on your shelf in your studio?
Not two books or three, but that one that is the Shakespear equivalent to recording arts?

Handbook for Soundengineers by G.M. Ballou Boston: Focal Press – ISBN: 0240803310. It is a reference, not for learning purposes. Descriptions tend to be quite technical, but it's all there.
