I'm working on some rough mixes in DP for a demo.

When I look at the mix in the graphic editor, most of the peaks are favoring the minus side of zero by quite a bit.

Is this a problem? Shouldn't eveything be symmetrical?

No, that's what makes a mix more interesting and not so bland. Don't worry about how the audio looks as a picture or graph, worry about the audio sound. Being happy and satisfied with how the mix sounds is the only thing that is truely important. If you you think your mix really needs it, you can add a comp or limiter to control and taylor the peaks more to you liking.
