i'm looking for a great mac mastering software package - just the cd writing part,
not the eq and compression part. do people
    actually like Jam?

    Well good question.

I use MLCD and it works perfect but it's old news.
    Is Jam like MLCD anyone?
Is Jam part of toast? Hope so because I have toast but I've never tried Jam.

Yeah I agree - MLCD is old news, lack of support for FireWire, etc.
I use Jam now, its more like MLCD than Toast - w/ crossfades, PQ's, etc
