I am looking for memory for my Opus Anus with the

Remember the saying you get what you pay for?
They dont say that for nothing ya know!!
The three choice memory companies are:
    Crucial, Kingston and Mushkin...
    Micron is good as well..
Stay with those wont regret us!!

yeah, you totally get what you pay for with RAM. Cosair and infineon (spelling?) are great too. You might want to think about using ECC registered memory too, good stability if you can afford it. That's what I run, and I haven't crashed 2k once in 8 months (since I've built my computer).

If you gotta get the cheaper stuff, at least get the Samsung. AT 333MHz rating at least you can overclock it. I'd rather have a stick of that Mushkin 512MB CAS2-2-2 stuff myself, in fact I've talked my boss into letting me buy a new mobo/cpu & related upgrade parts for my workstation at work (currently a SOYO P3/600). 3 guesses what I'm gonna buy and the first two guesses don't count.
  5. Is Viking still in the memory biz?
I recall their products had a good rep.
