    Hi there,

We've just wrapped up our first CD recorded at home. It sounds OK through the studio monitors (perhaps a little bit thin), but when we mixdown to MP3, we get this:

It's thin and quite harsh. Specifically, sibilance in the vocals, inaudible acoustic guitars, and trashy cymbals. We're taking it to a mastering studio tomorrow; will they be able to handle this? We're also going to be mixing late tonight, is there any way to help correct this? Any advice?

imo, it doesnt sound all that bad. the kick drum was inaudible, but it works for the song and there was a little crackle/pop acton it should be great after a decnt mastering session
this part may hurt, but i would retake the vocals as well
    the guitars sound good
