I saw that this is out now. I've been thinking about getting a "neve-like" pre for a while. Would this provide coloration simmilar to the 1272?

    Thanks.

I read the info on it at Mercenary. Some very nice mods on the Mercenary edition.

Seems like some GREAT ideas (TRS snd/rtn, output pots, meters, etc...)

Fletcher, have you used it with the likes of an RNC or SPECK eq dialed in much???

Seems like a REAL flexible signal chain. Taking 'bang for the buck' to more of a 'kick in the teeth for the buck' type of thing.

I've never used a 1272... but I love the thickness & smoothness that the MP-2NV gets for me so far. Add the flexibility with the impedance and loading switches, and I'm even happier.
