MTC to SMPTE

    hi all, my english is not so good, sorry

    i need an interface that can convert the MTC (generated via midi from protools) to SMPTE (recived by my tascam tm-d4000).
    which kind of converter i must buy?

    Take a look at the JL Cooper PPS-2. That should do what you need.

    Or you could get the MOTU Digital Time piece, or the MOTU MTP A/V, as they both do MTC to LTC and back.

    I would not recommend MOTU for this scenario! The jitter on those things are really bad!!!
