Is there an inexpensive way that I can send an optical output from my 01V into my PC? Maybe a USB interface or a PCI card? I would look at the soundblaster x-fi's because they have optical in/out, but I do not have PCI express since my computer is a few years old.

For the 01V, you need an ADAT optical card. The SoundBlasters only have optical S/PDIF, which will not work directly with the 01V.

A good value ADAT PCI card is the Marian Marc A.

Ok. I already have the optical in/out card for the 01V.

It's amazing how, when being brief, you can write one thing and have it read completely differently.

I meant in order to connect the 01V optically to a computer, you need an ADAT interface for the computer.

This one isn't too shabby either but it is more money.
