Right, so the bass drum sounds terrible, want to replace it. I know I can send the signal into my drum brain and then return it with a sample but is there a program that will do this for me internaly i.e an audio to midi converter. Excuse my inexperience but quite new to this here technology.
Using Cubase SX at the moment. Thanks for any down to earth, unsmug replies of the process.
  2. i am not sure if cubase supports this, but ithink beat detective does something like that. but i might be completely wrong

Is that the what works with pro tools? Have heard of it and appreciate the advice.
