R.Ed field test in July "Mix"

Discussion in 'Microphones & Recording' started by Genius at work, Jul 4, 2001.

  1. There are five factors that will put R.Ed on your "A" list:
    1. The cost: it's less expensive than many competing products.
    2. R.Ed sounds good.
    3. It's super-stable.
    4. The IDE drives...
    5. Onboard DSP enhaced by the power or the Mixpander card. Soundscape has put a lot of effort into the DSP options, and the quality and diversity from third-party vendors is outstanding.

See what other people are saying about R.Ed!

  2. It's not a bad review, if a little sketchy about the features. It seems a bit hurried if you ask me. I can't agree with the comment about the speed. I find R.Ed very fast for track laying and editing.
