    The EMI is beautiful. Looks like it might have been a mastering desk. Its funny....soon there will be no great piles of transformered, tubed, devices left laying around and languishing. Seems that sound was pretty after all.

    I often think about this. There might be a day when there is not enough power to run a vintage studio.

    I would imagine trying to run one on "green energy"would be quite a challenge,unless youhad a source for Hydrogen:wink:

    I got my RCA pre working today,suprisingly enough,a lot of the wax paper caps tested over spec,and the VU meter still works(even the light bulb).It's got balls,the monitor section has a couple of 6L6s,this thing makes a pretty nice sounding little PA.
