How would you guys record a string quartet in a church?
I'm going to use a laptop with protools setup, and a few mics.
Any suggestions, try to keep it simple and transportable...

I would put up my Beyer M160 / M130 combo, plugged into the Onyx pres on my little Mackie "Satelite" interface.

It would all fit into a small bag along with the laptop and some cans... just add a couple of mic stands. :D

Hello Mark; you may want to stop over to the Acoustic Music forum and repost over there, and read some of the threads as well. Lots of good stuff and folks there to help with you ideas on this.
