Okay, I need something to record digitally with no feedback that I can plug into the computer AFTER recording. Any suggestions?

I'd like to be able to plug my instruments into it, too, possibly.>>

There are a ton of units available that allow you to record to hard disk or SD card and later transfer the tracks to your computer.

Just search "audio recorders" and decide on which format and how many tracks you need. Zoom, Tascam, Roland, Boss, Fostex, etc. Huge number of units available.
