Replacing a 10 year old Soundcraft

    The original Midas Verona was actually made by Dynacord in Germany when both companies were owned by Bosch. Now that Midas is owned by the parent company of Behr^&%^r, that's a whole other barrel of monkeys. The originals were very well made and were known for their preamps. I would venture that they were a better build quality than what A&H is putting out these days. As for the "new" Midas, I don't know from personal experience, but suspect that it is not up to the standards that made Midas the highly regarded console line that it was.
