IM a location sound engineer among other things and am looking at purchasing a hyper cardiod for interior dialogue recording .The schoeps with the mk41 hypercardiod head seems to be the established mic to use but ive heard good things about the octavia mc01 and the sennheiser mkh50 .I was wondering if anyone had experiance with these mics.
    cheers ant

    where are you located?

find a location sound place ( I can refer you to a few that rent in the tri-state area), rent a pair of schoeps for the weekend -

you will either buy them, or start saving for them.
