does anyone know when digi is planning on getting around to updating PT for the new intel macs? digi's site is pretty mum about it, but it's kinda a requirement for me before i upgrade and i want to plan out when that might be.

digi is usually the last to deal with hardware, and OS upgrades. My best bet is 6 months. Or longer.

They indicated this would be done around the time of NAB (end of April). Take that with a grain of salt, as they have been known to push release dates back on more than one occasion.

All of this is a moot point really, because the only Intel Mac right now is the iMac G5, and the new laptop, neither of which will run HD. So, the release will probably be available when the proper G5s arrive on the scene.

Take it easy on Digi. As of right now, most everything is running on Rosetta. There are only a handful of applications used by the masses that are ported over. So a little niche market product should not be expected to come any faster.
