    Hey people,

Im after a rack based or software based vocal processor which includes effects such as distorsion, fuzz and so on with contol over chorus and reverb and so on.

Does anyone know of any good products out there suitable to be used with cubase SX3 for recording?

    thanks guys.
  2. I assume that you don't like the internal effects processors that are included with Cubase SX then??

I use the inbuilt effects in Cubase for reverb/delay/compression/chorus/phase/quadrafuzz etc. quite a lot, although since I got Waves Platinum I tend to use the Waves plug-ins more than Cubase's internal effects.

The voiceprism plus from tc helicon would be exactly what you want however you'd have to get one off ebay i think. I can't seem to find anyone selling them anymore which sucks because I wanted one for myself.

Use their search tool to find just what you need on the plug-in side of things.

I've actually had some solid results running vocals through Amplitube (yes, the guitar plugin) to get the whacky/fuzzed-out/distorted/chorused/phased/flanged/echoed/sounds. As far as SX's native-plugins go, i'm not a huge fan of the 'verbs or choruses but the "DaTube" overdrive can add a nice gritty edge to vocals without muddying up the lyrics too much...
