I want to use something I can figure out quickly, But be able to use later. Any suggestions?

So far I have looked at the following:

    Propellerhead Reason 2.5
    Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3
    Steinberg Cubase SX3 Recording Software
    Cakewalk SONAR 4 Studio Edition
    Steinberg Cubase SE
    Cakewalk Home Studio 2
    Cakewalk SONAR 4 Producer Edition
    Pro Tools LE

I've only worked with PT LE, reason and a little bit with cubase...but my vote would have to go for PT LE.

There is so much out there. Ive heard good things about Pro Tools LE. I think I'll buy it. Does anyone else have a vote on this issue?

I'll have to suggest Vegas4/5 if you only need audio recording.

Pt Le. Can't get much simpler than that.

Audition is stupid easy. Is that considered a viable option around here?
