This is my soundcard to mixer setup....

    This is my mixer

    And my soundcard

The Aux Send Outputs go into my soundcards Line In Inputs (Left and Right)
The Line In 3/4 Inputs go into my cards Line Out Outputs (Left And Right)
And my speakers are connected to the Ctrl Outputs to my Monitors

    And my mic ( http:// )
Its connected the the channel 1 mic input.

So am i missing some connection? or is there something i have to do in the software or my soundcard? I have Audacity and Cool Edit Pro.

    Many thanks!

that's a nice setup, now all you have to do is read all the manuals...
then post a relavant question when you're through (if it doesn't work)

I phoned the technical support team in UK, they seemed to have helped me get my soundcard to reckonise the signal from my microphone.
I realised that Audacity isnt ASIO compatible.

So i ended up using Wavelab Lite, which came with my soundcard.
Seems to work, i can record it layout in Left and Right Signals,

BUT when i want to play it back (hear what i recorded) in Wavelab i dont hear anything??? Only when i save the recording do i hear what i recorded in either Windows Media Player or Recycle?

Seems to be a pain if you cant hear what you recorded in the program itself :(

    Any ideas????

Maybe you could try reading the manuals that came with wavelab lite?
