So I just bought some new old gear.

    (2) White 30 band EQs
    (1) Blues Tube pre amp

Has anyone heard of these White EQs before? What do you think? I haven't got them up and running yet.

I've seen a few home engenieers using Blue Tube pre amps. Good? Bad?

I have used the White EQ's long ago, in PA work.
They where at the top of the heap along with KT's.

I couldn't afford them so I had to settle for EQ60's from ARX.
Good stuff but not quite the same.

What will you use them for ?

No experience with the Blues Tube pre amp.

I'll be using the White EQ's on some recordings. Patch them through my Aux channels and see how good they sound. The guy I bought them from told me they have a really tight Q, so I'm hoping they help me dial in some nice sounds.

How long ago was it you were using the White EQ's? What were they going for? I'm thinking about selling them on eBay if they've got vintage worth.

I just patched these EQ's in and they sound great! I can't believe how dynamic they are.

White EQ's are the cream of the crop in my opinion. They are wonderful at notching out frequencies in a mix even and they don't present any unusual artifacts or distortion the signal. I got to use them once at Studio Chicago and wish I could afford them for my own studio.

Anyone have an idea on how much these are worth?
