I'm fairly new to PG and I bought them during the sale over Christmas. Usually doing a copy of the folders (documents etc) will back everything up but will it also back up any Matched amps/cabinets that I downloaded from the cloud? I asked on the PG forums but got nothing after 8 days and 75 views. But I did find this (see below) which I already knew but still unsure if it's saving the downloads.

If you would like to backup your presets, please backup the following folders:

BIAS FX 2
Documents/PositiveGrid/BIAS_FX2
BIAS Amp 2
Documents/PositiveGrid/BIAS_Amp2
BIAS FX 1
Documents/BIAS_FX
BIAS Pedal
Documents/BIAS_Pedal

If you would like to restore your presets, please copy/paste the backup folders above to Documents to replace the current BIAS_FX, BIAS_Amp2 and BIAS_Pedal folders.

After almost 6 months you have replied with the exact same thing that I originally posted. I asked about the matched amps/cabs that you download, not the presets. I did mention that I knew how to back up the presets and then I questioned about backing up the amps and cabs that are downloaded and if they are saved in those folders I mentioned?

Bias FX has a feature to backup presets. But you have to be careful because if you don’t know exactly how it works, you can lose your presets. For example, you have a preset you made and you want to backup it before you make more changes to it. You go to Presets->Backing Up Presets->Choose a backup folder, type a name for your backup file. Here you are creating a new file and make changes to this file. So it’s not a backup at all. You just replace your original file with the new file. Your preset will be gone. The real backup way would be to select the original file. Go to Presets->Backing Up Presets->Choose a backup folder, type a name for your backup file. Now you have an exact copy of your original file. absecuritysol omproductions usaudiovisuals
