Hi,

I'm using an m-audio quattro for my simple home studio setup. i've noticed lately though that when recording audio, the waveform of the recorded track shows up a few m/s late in my software. at first i thought this was due to my own human error, but after working with several people, i'm beginning to realize that it might be my soundcard, or the manner in which it's configured in my software (nuendo). has anyone else ever encountered a similar problem? it even happens when i record midi, the tracks are a bit late, and for midi i'm sure that it's not me being that late. any help would be great.

thanks.

hey architect,

don't know if this makes sense but hopefully you can let me know....in nuendo, my input latency is 41.587 ms and my output latency is 42.381 ms. don't know how familiar you are with nuendo, but i found this info in device setup under VST multitrack. it's showing this latency corresponding to my ASIO driver which is my quattro. once again, i may be looking in the wrong place, so if you know anything i don't, just let me know. thanks.
