Description
Audient was founded in 1997 by David Dearden and Gareth Davies, previously of Soundcraft. They had been founding partners of DDA – a company known for designing mixing console in the 1980s and 1990s. The company was later purchased by Simon Blackwood (formerly of Focusrite/Novation) in the winter of 2013. Audient's flagship designs include the ASP8024, a large format inline mixing console with up to 80 inputs on the 36 channel version. Recently, the company has entered the audio interface market with the addition of the iD22, followed by the iD14 and iD4. The company is based in Herriard (near Basingstoke, Hampshire, England) but has employees in Bulgaria and throughout the UK. A widespread global distribution network is in place outside of the United Kingdom, with Audient taking British distribution in-house as of July 2010.

DDA S-Series Console Info Anyone?

Hi,
I have a friend with a DDA S-Series Console about 10-12 years old and its in mint condition. I was wondering if anyone has heard this board or had any experience with it. How are the pres, eqs, etc on it. He is thinking about selling it and I was wondering if it was a good buy.

What would be a fair price for it in mint condition.

Thanks
Jason

DDA Mixing Console

I am the associate pastor of a church. Someone is offering to donate a 32 channel DDA mixer to us. It was reportedly bought new for $16K. I must admit that I am not familiar with the brand. Can someone enlighten me? Although our equipment desperately needs upgrading I don't want saddled with someone's old gear if it isn't worth having. Thanks for your help.

Neotek Series I or II vs Ghost w/ Burr Brown IC's vs DDA

Hi all.
Trying to figure out what console in the $5k - $7k range for mixing. Good eq and routing options are a top priority.
Actually, add a Trident Series 65 to that list.
Also, there are lots of different DDA models, and I don't know which ones are the good ones.
