This is my first post, so hello to everyone.

I've just done this first mix (let's say RAW since there is not much fancy work done), downloading the tracks from the known from this forum site with free tracks for mixing training. So I'm training.

My First Submission for critique

This was recorded, mixed, and mastered all in a Tascam DP32 recorder. No DAW

I hope to drop my tracks into a DAW someday.

Just me on all tracks vocals and instruments

I struggle getting warmth to my mixes. Wondering if a good preamp would help my cause

Especially on the mandolin.

I mentioned some time ago that a friend and I were working on writing / mixing & producing a J-pop song (Japanese / Euro Pop) for the Japanese market! It has taken me ages, mainly due to buying & renovating a house / my job / having a girlfriend / and being Irish (a lot of drinking). As a result I have put in only around 1 hour every week to this project.
