Uploading to Myspace.

I'll bet this has been covered before but UTFSF helped me find nothing.

When I upload songs to my Myspace something in the conversion, data compression or a codec or something, does weird things to the recordings. But it's not all the time. Anybody know what's up there? Sample rate or bit rates or something I ought to change? Something I ought to convert to before uploading?

anti-myspace butchering...

so, i've been learning as much as i can about recording over the past year (taking classes at the local college, subscribing to various magazines, and reading my butt off.) but I'm having a big conflict with myspace and their music player. does anybody know any possible solutions to help the mix for this other than using a different player.

Bouncing/Exporting/importing/ uploading on to MYSPACE

Im just a beginner with the whole home recording deal... I have a lot of really close friends who know a ton about this stuff and Ive learned a lot from them but right now I'm recording some music for some people and Ive been noticing that my mix sounds pretty good through itunes and through other programs... through my stereo in my car.. headfones... radio speakers... etc...

help with myspace upload file

I recorded an acoustic song and the song sounded great even after converting the origional aiff file to an mp3 and compressing the mp3 file to the size I needed.
However, since I'm trying to put my song up on "myspace", when I uploaded the file onto my profile and listened to it (the same exact file that sounded fine on my computer through i-tunes with no fancy effects or eq's)
