When I record drums in my home studio and then play it back, I'm having a problem. When listening through my headphones and computer speakers it sounds terrible, but when I listen through my studio monitors it sounds great. So I have no idea which one I should rely on to tell how the drums actually sound. Someone please help me this is so aggravating -________-

Hi, got a bit of an odd one here that I'm not sure I trust my ears on. I'm working with a band right now, and since their drummer's feet are all over the place in regard to velocity (pretty typical metal drumming, light on the fast stuff hard on the slower) I've been experimenting with a new technique.

For time syncing purposes in Adobe Audition CS 5.5?

Also, I have read/heard that the Metronome was taken out of the Adobe CS5.5 Audition, but can anyone confirm this?

I am running pro-tools LE 6.4 with a Digi001 interface. My system as been running fine for more than two years and all of a sudden I keep getting an error message "Audio processing is conflicting with other CPU task. If this occurs often reducing the "HW Buffer Size" in the Play Back Engine Dialog may help prevent the problem -9129"

I'm new to digital recording. What does "simultaneous recording" and "simultaneous playback" mean. I'm looking at a Boss br 800. Thanks

Hey guys. at this point i have just miCD my guitar amp and i am able to record tracks and on to the hardrive. When i play them back i cant hear anything.

Hi, I'm recording and bouncing drum beats from my mpc in Pro Tools 7.4. The sound quaility is good when i record it but after I bounce to my computer the sound is very poor (sounds like its blown out). Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can solve it? Thanks.

I have having distortion problems with the playback of audio with my Saffire 6 USB interface and Ableton 8.2.1 software that came with it. I can monitor through the interface with headphones while recording the track from an instrument and the sound is clear, but when the track is played back the sound is horribly distorted. The recorded levels never clip past the distortion limit.

When recording a track and then continuing to play it back to listen to it, the sound of the output becomes terribly distorted and full of feedback although the levels are well below the overload threshold. Is there a setting that controls this?

The sound of the instrument will sound fine while actually recording the track, but when it is played back it is terribly messed up.
