Are there any non-mounting power conditioners?

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and KRK Rokit 6's. I want to power them off when not in use. The monitors have a switch on back, but would be much easier to flip one switch on a power conditioner. Also the interface doesn't have a power button. Somewhere I read to safely power it off, I should first shut down the computer, then unplug.

Care for a Power Amp / Installing / Mounting it

Hello, I want to know what I can do to install a power amp or modify it so that it's portable for transport. I'd also like to know how to handle a power amp with care.

The band that i play with don't have much space so we are constantly moving between 3 houses. I recently acquired a power amplifier (Yamaha PD2500) and two "Acoustic Linear Monitors 12" passive speakers.

Power Speakers? PA Systems? HAAALP!

Hey there, community.

Tomorrow I'll (hopefully) be making my first big ticket purchase in terms of music/audio equipment.

It's a Yorkville Sound - YX15P 200 Watt 15+1-inch Powered PA Speaker.
Okay, everything's bolded all of a sudden. I'll get used to this forum soon enough.
Anyways, back to topic.

Behringer Xenyx 502 phantom power mod

While this is very good mixer for vocals recording on DAW then models before 2009 package update "Now with Phantom Power" lack phantom power for condenser mics on XLR connector.

DISCLAIMER:
- If you don't know how to open the mixer or know how to solder then STOP and find a new hobby. I am not responsible if you get electric shock or burn your house etc.

XLR Y adapter phantom power question

I've recently started a band with a couple friends and we want to record some songs live in studio (I use the word studio loosely).

I use the standard two overhead mics on my drumset and I was wondering: could I use a XLR Y adapter (2 male to 1 female) to plug them into the same input and have both mics still get phantom power and all that? I need to free up an input for the bass.

Phantom Power mixing board for RODE nt1a?

Forums

I recently purchased a RODE nt1a studio condensor mic. The interface I planned on using doesn't have phantom power and this was a mistake on my part. I do have a mixing board with phantom power, but it is typically used for live sound. If this would power the mic, I just need a usb adapter but if it doesn't I need a new interface.
