has anyone used this mic, I'm looking for something to use on vocals, guitar (electric and acoustic), and maybe some sax. It is a little more then I want to spend but is it worth it?

The Blue Dragonfly is a real good and decent mic worth owning. I would say it is more of a general purpose workhorse mic that can work well on many sources more so than on any one specific source.

Before you go off and get it, it would be wise for you to at least check out some other mics with the same features and price range. You may find something better suited to your needs.

Always depends on the vocalist. However, one session I went through a couple Neumanns, a SM7, and someone lent me a dragonfly from next door and I went with that. The vocalist never sounded better. I haven't gotten my hands on it since but its on my list. It had a nice smooth and mellow top end
