HI friends! What are your opinions and choices nowadays? Is there anyone stil using 1630's? theya re a pain in the ass about drop-outs and archiving, however top pro guys see benefits.
I don’t have a 1630. There are still places that use them although increasingly I hear that manufacturing plants are charging for conversion. Don would be the best to ask that.
Most of my more serious labels and artist are using DDP because of the ability to verify and print out an error log. Most of the independent and budget conscious artist get PMCD.
