Outage for 5 days!
The entire network we host the RO server in LA went dark. There was NO support, no explanation, just a lot of pissed off people with dead websites.
So, after 5 days we were assigned new ip's and as of last night I was finally able to get RO back online. It's time to find a new home I think but that's for another day. Oh the fun of hosting and dealing with technology.

Control room bass array
Hello again RO. Been an eventful and long time since I've been back here. I finally opened my studio, Vibrations Recordings in September of last year with so much incredible support from so many great folks here for the last 17 years or more!.

Fostex mr-8hd
Page 68 of the manual says I can use pan when rehersing track bouncing to 7/8, but I can't make it work. I have followed all of the instructions (select 1 through 6 to 7/8, etc.), but I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas where I've messed up?

Extending Shure receiver antennas
- I would like to extend the supplied BNC antennas for about 5x Shure SLX-D dual channel receiver units.
- I want to mount the antennas on a small metal plate on a wall, keeping the same spacing as the receiver.
Would RG8X coax be fine in terms of loss over around 25ft per antenna?
Due to cost reasons, the Shure distributed antenna system is not an option.

Recording from a DAC produces a very different Spectrogram, could somebody explain why?
Hi
I took a wav file which is recorded as 44.1 KHz 32 bits float (A) and played it through a DAC (Topping NX4 DSD) which I recorded the output through an iD14 as 96KHz 32 bits float (B).
Then I opened the spectrogram view through Audacity of both to check the difference and B is full of stripes at regular interval. I wonder what could be the explanation.
TC Electronic G Natural troubleshooting help and advice
Hi all.
I recently found a non functioning TC Electronic G Natural unit, that i don’t know its story.
I tried the voltages on the main board pcb and they were very low (2vdc and 3.8vdc instead of 3.3vdc and 5vdc respectively on the digital side and -11vdc and 11vdc instead of -15vdc and +15vdc, respectively, on the analog side).
Digital Mixer to compliment Behringer PMP-2000
Hi,
I have a virtually new PMP2000 but it does not have Bluetooth / USB connectivity. Which present day mixer can I use so that I can add it to the PMP2000 and can avail the power of the PMP2000 and the 'modern-day' connectivity of bluetooth / USB?
Thanks,
Baande7
Make MIDI backing tracks sound better?
I have some older MIDI backing tracks that I want to update to sound better when they play through the PA. The software I'm using allows me to set the level, velocity, pan, reverb and chorus for each instrument.

R20 Checking Levels?
Hi, I am new with the Zoom R20 Multitrack. I can't figure out how to check the levels for recording by seeing some meters showing how hot/cold the input is. Can anyone walk me through that process for the R20?
Thanks.
